First up was Jackie Wilgar, SVP Digital Marketing at Live Nation UK, who has over 15 year of experience in the entertainment industry. She spoke about the variety of organisations she has worked for, most of which were run by a board of men and how she worked around them and with them to deliver new marketing solutions and strategies to successful social, media and promotion programs. It was clear that Jackie has a progressive vision to exceed archaic objectives men have set for women in the workplace.

Second to speak was Genevieve O’Neil, Director of Diversity at Ticketmaster. Gen shared the initiatives and important lessons from a year of Diversity & Inclusion at Live Nation Entertainment. And she spoke about how the Diversity team has just reached its one-year anniversary at Live Nation Entertainment – there have been some great achievements and lessons along the way that other organisations can learn from.

The final speaker was Sammy Andrews, a strategic advisor, manager and director who has worked in almost every possible role in the music industry. This fiery independent music industry advisor and Director of Entertainment Intelligence has a long history at the forefront of the digital landscape. Having gained a 360-degree view of the music industry through her background as a concert promoter, artist manager and independent record label founder, Andrews took on a position as Head of Digital at the record division of 19 Entertainment in 2005, though her remit there expanded beyond music to cover brands including the Beckhams, the England football team and Honda.

Thank you to all who attended and we will see you in 2017 for more ADTs!
