ADT regularly holds open and frank discussions and debates on what can be done to increase diversity in the technology industry.

Their next meet-up is Thursday 30 March. The evening will start off at 6:30 p.m. with food (including vegetarian and vegan options) and refreshments (wine, beer, soft drinks, etc) in the newly refurbished Imperial Bar in the Ticketmaster basement at 4 Pentonville Road. Talks start at 7 p.m. After the talks you can stick around to chat and meet others who care about improving diversity.

Thursday’s featured speakers include Amanda Cavallaro and Susie Coleman (shown below, respectively).

Cavallaro will also discuss what she is currently working on and convey a message about the importance of diversity in the technology industry.

Coleman is a software developer for Guardian News & Media. She brought a series of internal events to celebrate LGBT+ History Month to the organisation this year. Coleman will cover how this came about, what they did and why this was an important thing to do.
