Taking place at the mighty fine Tempest Inn on Brighton Seafront (great sunset views), the great and the good of the electronic music world – including DJs, producers, publishers, distributors, labels and promoters – gathered on mass to celebrate the return of the BMC now in its fourth year.

As the sun went down the delegates got down to the soulful, deep and sublime sounds of MVMT DJ Simon Morgan followed by D Koda, who gradually amped up the vibes into jackin territory as the sky darkened and the waves lapped the shoreline.

Jim McNulty, Jonny Lees and Neil Kemp from the Last Night a DJ Saved My Life Foundation, a charitable foundation creating opportunities for the dance music industry to make a positive impact in support of children in crisis, were busy engaging with all to ensure awareness of their #haveadrinkonus campaign.

The 10 p.m. curfew was completely ignored as the party carried on into the wee small hours.
