By now we hope that you have had a chance to read our insightful Dance Music State of Play report, if not you can download it here.

To launch this great piece of research where else could we go but to the Amsterdam Dance Event.  This years ADE attracted over 350,000 Dance Music fans, artists, speakers, party goers and a whole raft of Ticketmaster International delegates.  In between meetings and many a uber ride I managed to catch one great presentation about my home town Manchester and how its past is still influencing the music and events of today like the top clubs mentioned in our report such as the Warehouse Project and Sankeys, as well as the fact that the whole reason the Chemical Brothers ended up at Manchester Uni wasn’t because of its high  education reputation but the music scene, especially the legendary Hacienda.  Of course the best presentation of the visit has to go to our own Sophie Crosby who gave a whirlwind 20 minute wrap up of our State of Play report pulling out key findings with her usual vigour and enthusiasm, this then led onto our drinks reception which ended in a very, very late (or early morning) finish which led to a few sore heads.

As we had such a great time at ADE we want to share the results of our reports in a similar way with our UK based clients.  To do this we shall be holding a drinks reception including a short State of Play Report presentation at Ticketmaster Head Office on the evening of the 10th November, if you would like to attend, meet the team and get to hear about the report face to face rather than reading please email [email protected]  for further information
