With 31 matches taking place at multiple cricket venues across the UK, the tournament concluded Sunday 23 July 2017 in a thrilling clash between England and a world-class Indian side. It was a close match as both sides vied for the title but in the end it was England who took home the trophy in front of a sell-out 27,000 strong crowd at Lord’s Cricket Ground.

It’s been a record-breaking tournament all-round, both on and off the field, with a reported global TV audience of more than 50 million, record runs and innings and higher than average tickets sales than any previous World Cup* which only serves to prove the sport’s ever increasing popularity.

Adam Newsam, Managing Director Ticketmaster Sport, said, “As women’s sport goes from strength to strength, it’s been a real privilege to have been involved in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2017. We have an incredibly talented and dedicated team here at Ticketmaster Sport and with record ticket sales I’m extremely proud of how they’ve worked together to deliver a successful tournament for our client ECB.”
