TicketWeb's Jonathan West takes us to Indy Man Beer Con 2017

Indy Man Beer Con is a veritable Valhalla for the beer aficionado. Now in it’s 6th year the event has built a strong reputation as a world class showcase for the best breweries from the UK and beyond.  All this fun takes place over 4 days within the incredible walls of Manchester’s Grade II listed Victoria Baths.

The list of brewers taking part in this year’s event is yet to be announced but they are sure to be amongst the world’s very best. Also present will be the cream of up and coming “Cuckoo brewers” who take part in the The Thirsty Games to determine the most promising newcomers to the industry.

To make sure that tickets for the most popular sessions went to true beer brethren; the Indy Beer Man team decided that the first batch of tickets would only be available in person at launch events held in 2 of the city’s best pubs. Exclusive promo codes were handed out from 6-9pm on the 24th of May to patrons within the Port Street Beer House and The Beagle. While lucky punters enjoyed free taco’s & Beavertown Neck Oil; TicketWeb stalwarts Jason Boardman & Amit Sood were on hand to add the personal touch checking out the pre-sale customers whilst they supped and also changing the promo codes every hour to maintain the exclusivity of the presale. All in all the launch night sold over 1000 tickets – cheers to that!

TicketWeb will also be there throughout the weekend of the event as Indy Man Beer Con scan 1000s of beers connoisseurs through the doors. They’ll deserve a drink after that.
