Edinburgh start-up, Make it Social, whose technology enables people to book as a group but pay individually, is entering a partnership with Ticketmaster, the global market leader in live event ticketing.
The agreement will extend Make it Social’s reach to Ticketmaster’s platforms in the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. The company is making use of Ticketmaster’s open ticketing platform, leveraging Ticketmaster’s APIs to provide value added services to venues, sports clubs, promoters and fans.

Make it Social, which was founded in 2013, is active with Premier League football club Brighton & Hove Albion, Harlequins Rugby Union, the Scottish Rugby Union and Surrey County Cricket Club.
The company is headquartered in Edinburgh’s Codebase, the UK’s largest technology incubator, and employs 16 staff.
