Some new faces have joined Ticketmaster’s Sales team – Jason Boardman at our Manchester office, along with Bonita McKinney and Holly Watson at the London office. (All three are shown above, respectively.)
With a background in the live events industry, Jason has been operating for many years as a DJ and event promoter, programming stages for boutique festivals and events for the Aficionado brand. He also dabbles in artist management representing Horsebeach and curating the output of the vinyl-only record label Aficionado Recordings. In his new role Jason’s primary area of focus is business development for TicketWeb in the North of England, liaising with venues, promoters and artists to support their needs and to provide ticketing and marketing solutions for them. Having been employed at Ticketmaster in various roles for the past 14 years, he has a deep understanding of the ticketing industry and will utilise his wider experience to provide the best possible customer experience.
As a sales executive for music, Bonita will support the ticketing needs of promoters, venues and festivals nationwide, providing solutions and enhancing their selling power across our numerous platforms. She has been involved in the programming and development of numerous festivals and venues including the Academy Music Group venue estate and worked with booking agents across the industry, building touring artists up to arena level. Utilising her seven years of working as a national concert promoter, Bonita recognises the requirements, concerns and triumphs involved in delivering successful events.
Holly’s main focus will be to ensure Ticketmaster has the best deals and promotions available for a wide range of events across the board. In addition to a love of live events, she has a music technology degree and has worked in a wide variety of positions in large-scale events and festivals around the world including the Isle of Wight Festival, London 2012 Olympic Games and Melbourne Grand Prix. Holly started with Ticketmaster several years ago in Manchester and has spent the last few years building up a wealth of ticketing knowledge before being welcomed back.
