Alexis Kings
Alexis Kings (shown left above) are a five-piece rock band from St Albans currently making a scene thanks to their single “Squire” finding its way on to the Spotify Viral Chart. Channelling some early Kings of Leon and a good slice of ’90s AOR, the band are winning fans through BBC Introducing. Ticketmaster Artist Services caught them live at Camden Rocks @Proud on Saturday where the band delivered an arena-rousing set.
Liv Dawson
Everything you need to know about Liv Dawson (shown right above) is in her debut track, “Tapestry”. It’s intimate, elegant and spellbinding, simple yet evocative, classic feeling but distinctly contemporary. The song boasts lyrics and vocals that are wise and confident well beyond her years. As far as introductions go, it’s a stirring first offering from the young UK artist and an enchanting promise of more to come.
