Ticketmaster Artist Services are committed to delivering on the needs of musicians. The team oversees hundreds of tours every year, selling approximately half a million tickets direct to fans, on behalf of touring artists all over the UK and Europe. This can range from returning stadium and arena acts who wish to satisfy targeted areas of their fan base, such as fan clubs or album purchasers, to the other end of the spectrum, bands venturing out on tour for the very first time, looking to build their following.

In our ongoing campaign to inform artist managers, labels and agents of our services we’ve started a new series of events entitled Ticketmaster Artist Services – Working for the Artist. It’s a networking afternoon for music industry professionals with live music provided by TicketWeb Sessions.

The first event took place at Tileyard Studios near Kings Cross with a burgeoning community of music makers, managers and promoters on Tuesday 4 October. One of our new favourite live acts, the mesmerising electronic duo RIVRS, performed to a packed audience, entertaining the crowd with their recent singles Friend Lover and Falling plus a stylish cover of Fleetwood Mac’s The Chain. Look out for the performance on the TicketWeb Sessions YouTube channel, coming very soon.

Ticketmaster Artist Services also gave away £50 of Ticketmaster vouchers and a signed copy of Bear’s Den’s new album, Red Earth & Pouring Rain, courtesy of our friends Communion Music. Congratulations to our winner Jess Nash at Notting Hill Music.
