An earlier version of this story ran on 3 December 2017:

Our goal is to maintain their trust and confidence by handling their personal information with respect and putting them in control. To meet this goal, we have a dedicated Global Data Privacy Team who, in conjunction with committed project and product resource, are hard at work on getting ready for the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which comes into effect on 25 May 2018.

In this briefing paper, we explain our view of the key changes as they relate to ticketing and what we are doing to comply with the changes. The table below is by no means an exhaustive list of all changes, but we hope it gives you a useful steer. Although much of what we are doing will help you with your own journey towards compliance, you should conduct your own review of how you manage personal data. Further guidance on the GDPR is available on the Data Protection Authority’s website.
