Ticketmaster, a Live Nation Entertainment company, has today announced it will be launching in Italy, with headquarters in Milan.

Ticketmaster, the global ticketing leader with more than 530 million primary tickets processed annually, will enter the key territory of Italy to help facilitate ticket sales at the regional and international level. Sales of tickets in the country are estimated to reach 19 million by the year 2020, which shows the huge demand for live events in Italy. With this expansion, Italian fans will gain access to Ticketmaster’s world-class service, while artists and event promoters will be able to take full advantage of Ticketmaster’s innovative ticketing solutions.

As part of strategic growth and expansion throughout Europe, Italy represents the 29th market Ticketmaster has entered to provide its exceptional service and ticketing technology. Ticketmaster also recently launched in Switzerland, Czech Republic and Poland.

Firenze Rocks, one of the first major events to have tickets available on ticketmaster.it, today announced its headliners for 2018. The most rock festival of the Italian summer is scheduled from 14 – 17 June at the Visarno Arena in Florence.
