Our team headed up by Gary Roden and Annie Callaghan met with the majority of our comedy clients which we work with throughout the year and also took the opportunity to catch some of their ‘fresh’ talent appearing at the festival. We managed to catch over 50 different shows during the six days the team were in town, as well as gain a greater understanding of what the festival is about and just how big it is, as the majority of our team had never experienced it before. For a team who spend 52 weeks a year working on Theatre, Arts and Comedy events we believe that it is important that everyone not only has an understanding/passion for events that are happening in the arena’s and commercial theatre venues across the UK, but also where it all begins at grass roots events such as this.

Another aim for the week was to gather content, and content we did gather! We were able to gain access to a huge number of acts and activities from around the festival which featured on a live blog throughout the week. We managed to interview over 25 acts and are creating videos and blog articles which we will use to feature across our Comedy Hub promoting various acts as they go on tour into 2017.

All in all we had an absolutely smashing week at the Fringe and we look forward to working with all the amazing new shows/talent that we experienced in the not too distant future.
