After 40 incredible years as the world’s leader in ticketing, we continue to be innovators in our industry.
More than 300 clients coming from 11 countries attended our first ever international Ticketmaster Summit (#tmSummit16) – which featured 50 speakers, 20 sessions and five artist performances.
To kick things off, we proudly unveiled the video below which conveys to our business partners and customers alike that Ticketmaster will keep on delivering to them the very best in marketing, technology and service.
The Ticketmaster Summit was an opportunity for our brilliant teams to show off the many products and services they have been working so hard on – from new “Discovery” experiences and cutting-edge event creation and management tools to intuitive reporting, innovative marketing services and advancements in our API and distributed commerce strategy. Many of these products were demonstrated live at the Product Lab so clients could try them out.
We also unveiled new technology for our specialised segments including the following:
- Front Gate Tickets for festivals
- Ticketweb Backline for grass roots music venues
- Universe for DIY and much more
At the Summit we created a grassroots venue – TicketWeb Studios – where we hosted Backline demos and were thrilled to showcase performances by Dan Bettridge, SuperGlu, Horsebeach and Elle Exxe.
In addition, Ticketmaster presented “40 Years of Punk in London” in partnership with Punk.London. Not only did this include an auction of iconic punk photographs to benefit our charity, Nordoff Robbins, but there was also a very special performance from the UK’s original punk band The Damned.
Of course, there was a lot of fun to be had throughout the day with industry peers in the Leffler Lounge and at the rockin’ closing party. To see all this and more, check out the photos right here!
Overall, Ticketmaster Summit 2016 was a massive success. If you have questions about any of the new innovations unveiled at the event, contact your Client Account Manager at [email protected].
