Now in its fourth year, the TicketWeb Ones to Watch list has previously tipped the likes of James Bay, Banks, Rat Boy, Izzy Bizu and Blossoms, who have all gone on to reach stellar heights. Blossoms this year alone released their self-titled debut album, which debuted at number one in the official UK albums chart. The list is compiled by TicketWeb’s dedicated Artist Services team in collaboration with a range of industry experts. There is a wealth of great new artists performing and making music, so much so that this year the list was extended from 10 artists to 12. The list takes in artists from across the musical spectrum with grime, indie, electro-soul all represented. In no particular order here is TicketWeb’s 2017 Ones to Watch list:

  • Declan Mckenna
  • Nadia Rose
  • The Japanese House
  • Cosima
  • Bossy Love
  • Bonzai
  • Gothic Tropic
  • Yungen
  • Tom Grennan
  • Zak Abel
  • Dagny
  • Rag N Bone Man

Commenting on the list, Sam Isles, Managing Director of TicketWeb, said: “We are committed to supporting new music and understand how important it is to nurture fresh talent. The acts playing upstairs in pubs today could be those headlining O2 Academy Brixton tomorrow, and it’s vital that TicketWeb lend support and guidance to these emerging artists.”

Over the next couple of weeks TicketWeb will unveil exclusive interviews with their Ones to Watch luminaries, along with an exciting gig announcement to celebrate the 12 who have made the list.

The Ones to Watch list is the centerpiece of TicketWeb’s commitment to championing emerging talent. Over the last 12 months TicketWeb have showcased breaking artists on stages in the UK at The Great Escape, Off the Record in Manchester, First Fifty in London, and across the pond at SXSW. TicketWeb also unveiled TicketWeb Backline – a powerful evolution of its platform designed in collaboration with Music Venue Trust specifically to meet the needs of independent venues and promoters.
