At Ticketmaster we’re keeping pace with the fast-moving Groups industry. Earlier this month we took part in the Group Leisure & Travel Show 2017 at the NEC Birmingham.
This is one of the year’s must-go events because it brings together all the major players from the UK’s domestic tourism market – which makes up a whopping £100+ billion industry! Over 2,000 people were estimated to have been at GLTS on 12 October.
Manning our eye-catching stand right in the heart of the action were Groups Accounts Manager Adam Barr and long-time stalwart of the groups team, Stuart Lynd.
There was a lot of interest from attendees about Ticketmaster Groups and we were excited to promote our great range of events – from the best theatre and musicals, to family friendly favourites like Disney On Ice and great new outdoor events like Greenwich Winter Time at the Old Royal Naval College in December.
During the exhibition we spoke with many different people – ranging from regular account holders to new faces keen to work with our groups team. So we can say without a doubt that this event was well worth attending. Plenty of promising leads were generated and we look forward to coming back to GLTS in 2018.
