On Tuesday night, one of the world’s leading music agents, CAA’s own Emma Banks, was interviewed by Live Nation Entertainment’s Selina Emeny. The WE (Women in Entertainment) Nation event was held in Ticketmaster International’s head office in London as part of the diversity program. The evening was attended by staff from all over the UK.

Emma and Selina discussed Emma’s successful career, what she attributed to her success (working harder than anyone else, trusting your gut and saying yes to every opportunity), and the challenges women face in the music industry and their careers. It was a brilliant, inspiring night.

Emma represents many of the world’s leading musicians, including Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, and Slipknot. An industry veteran, Emma has been key to the career development of some of today’s most talented artists including Florence & the Machine, Norah Jones, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, helping them become international icons.

Our own Vice President of Touring, Kelly Chappel noted, “From a promoter’s perspective, Emma can be a formidable force, but that is exactly why if I was in a band I would want her as my agent.  I would be damn sure I was in safe hands and she was looking after my best interests and career”.
