The Key Note speech, delivered by e-commerce expert Craig Sullivan and titled “We Were Promised Jet Packs”, was a walk through how a poor mobile experience affects businesses, focusing on household brands and names across all industries, leaving the audience with no doubt how important it is to get it right and how antiquated the experience currently is. This set the tone for two days of discussions, presentations and insights into all aspects of the ticketing business and offered a great chance to continue our ongoing education on all things ticketing.

A multitude of topics were discussed across four categories: Compliance and Regulation, Technology and Trends, Leadership and Management and Revenues featuring senior executives from across the globe sharing their experiences, tips and knowledge with an eager crowd ready to take something back to their own companies. From APIs to how best to sell the last few tickets and from managing micro moments for customers to current international trends (featuring our own SVP of Operations Doug Smith), the conference offered excellent insight into the current ticketing landscape. Throw in plenty of food, drinks receptions and friendly faces, both new and old and it’s fair to say Ticketmaster will be back next year and look forward to again sharing our own experiences with the attendees.
