IFF is an invite-only event for booking agents, festivals, artists and suppliers that’s comprised of intimate showcases, networking and conference sessions around Camden Town.

Situated in the legendary Dingwalls, it was great to see so many UK festivals in attendance including Standon Calling, 2000trees, Bearded Theory, Boomtown, Beautiful Days, From the Fields, LeeFest, Sea Change Festival and Slam Dunk. In previous years the IFF has had a predominantly international focus, so it was a great opportunity to meet our homegrown event organisers.

Panels across the two-day conference included discussions on Festival Politics and Top Tech Hotlist. There was a chance for new festivals to introduce themselves at Meet the Festivals with Beckie Sugden (X-ray Touring) plus a well-attended gender inclusion debate with Natasha Bent (CODA).

Of course, the highlight of the conference sessions was the keynote from Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis CBE.

Afternoons on both days revolved around showcasing the newest talent from booking agencies including ITB, Coda, Primary, X-ray, United Talent Agency and ATC. It was a perfect chance for festival bookers to snap up acts for their 2018 events.

Showcasing our new self-service platform Universe and end-to-end festival platform Front Gate, this event was a valuable occasion to chat to organisers about their festival ticketing needs and learn more about the ever evolving landscape for 2018.
