Ticketmaster’s partnership with Echo Location has allowed both parties to collaborate and achieve their shared goal – to empower artists to realise the full potential of their live careers. Over the past 12 months Ticketmaster Artist Services have produced tailored campaigns in response to the individual needs of each artist.

At the very start of 2017 Nadia Rose appeared on TicketWeb’s 2017 Ones To Watch list. OTW is the cornerstone of TicketWeb’s year-round New Music campaign that has previously tipped the likes of Blossoms and James Bay. Nadia’s inclusion on the list brought her to the attention of the millions of fans on Ticketmaster channels and prepped them for her Village Underground show, which was announced a couple of months later with an exclusive artist presale powered by our TicketWeb platform.

In June, Gorgon City  announced a five-date regional club tour, a return to their roots building on their GC Kingdom brand. TicketWeb worked with the duo’s label Universal Music to drive fresh sign-ups to the band’s mailing list. Fans on that mailing list once again had exclusive access to tickets for a limited period and strong sales suggested that there is demand for advance sales on club shows.

Then just this month Wizkid (shown above) announced a huge show at London’s Royal Albert Hall as part of the Albert Sessions – an initiative to attract younger audiences to this magnificent space by opening up new opportunities for world-class artists who haven’t headlined at the hall before to showcase their talent on the main stage. A dedicated e-shot powered by the insight of Echo Location and Ticketmaster’s affinity tool enabled us to identify a whole new audience for Wizkid and ensure another sell-out artist presale.
