Last week the UK's largest credit card provider launched a new benefit program called Barclaycard Entertainment.

Working in partnership with Live Nation and Academy Music Group, Barclaycard is offering customers who love live entertainment some incredible savings on over 3,500 events a year.

If you’re a cardholder now you’ll be able to get a whole range of benefits such as 5% back on tickets, 10% off exclusive presales to some the country’s biggest festivals (including Download, Isle of Wight and Reading & Leeds) and 5% off food and drink at O2 Academy venues.

“Today’s consumers want to spend on experiences rather than things, whether that’s a day out at one of the UK’s iconic music festivals or an intimate comedy show by an up-and-coming performer,” said Daniel Mathieson, Head of Experiential Marketing and Partnerships for Barclaycard. “With Barclaycard Entertainment we can offer cardholders exclusive benefits to help them get more out of every live event.”

Barclaycard’s partnership with Live Nation and Academy Music Group kicked off last Friday with help from The Muppets, who are featured in the marketing campaign showing customers how to enjoy “more good times for less”.

“We want everybody who attends one of our events to have the best possible experience,” said Denis Desmond, Chairman of Live Nation UK and Ireland.Whether it’s exclusive access to tickets or perks at a venue, this partnership will benefit live entertainment fans and help create lasting memories.”
