The evening started in the Tennent’s Wellpark Brewery Visitor Centre with a cold beer, followed by a wander through the brewery (and past pallets of thousands of cans of beer) to the Tennent’s Training Academy. There, we were greeted by the chef who explained the format of the night, whilst we tucked into some poppadums and spicy onions. 

We were then shown how to cook chicken tikka masala, make the spice paste and bake saffron rice in the oven. We were then let loose with a large, sharp knife and we all managed fairly expertly to prepare the ingredients and cook the curry. 

All in all, it was a great night out with a difference, which ended with sitting down to eat our curries and drink more beer. Good times – as you can see below!
