James Bay released the luscious ballad Wild Love on Virgin (Universal Music) this first new song since his 2015 double platinum selling debut Chaos and the Calm. James also delighted fans with the announcement of an intimate show at in London’s Electric Brixton.
Fans were given opportunity to secure their tickets to the show taking place on 15 March 2018 at London’s Electric Brixton through an exclusive 48-hour presale ahead of tickets going on general sale.
As demand far exceeded availability of tickets, fans were advised that entry to the ticket sale did not guarantee tickets. To ensure tickets were not resold on secondary ticketing sites, Ticketmaster and the venue utilised Ticketmaster’s paperless/credit card entry system and limited ticket purchase to two per access code.
This week James announced another single Pink Lemonade, a transistor guitar-driven track showcasing the artist’s louder sound. His team worked with Ticketmaster Artist Services once again to give fans a further opportunity to catch James in concert, this time on a seven-date UK tour.
On Wednesday 7 March, James announced details of his new album Electric Light. Fans who pre-order their copy from his official store qualify for a 48-hour presale powered by Ticketmaster, set to start Wednesday 14 March. Artist Services created and managed the landing page, so fans can easily source tickets for whichever show they want.
