Edinburgh start-up, Make it Social, whose technology enables people to book as a group but pay individually, is entering a partnership with Ticketmaster, the global market leader in live event ticketing.

The company is making use of Ticketmaster’s open ticketing platform, leveraging Ticketmaster’s APIs to provide value added services to venues, sports clubs, promoters and fans.

Eddie Robb, founder and chief executive of Make it Social, said, “Working with Ticketmaster is a fantastic opportunity. Our software takes the headache out of group booking and makes meeting up in real life easier. Now many more people will benefit.”

Make it Social, which was founded in 2013, is active with Premier League football club Brighton & Hove Albion, Harlequins Rugby Union, the Scottish Rugby Union and Surrey County Cricket Club.

The company is headquartered in Edinburgh’s Codebase, the UK’s largest technology incubator, and employs 16 staff.
