Following the huge success of events held in Ibiza and Malta, MTV has now taken the helm of the largest annual event in the small European country of Gibraltar. The beautiful British Overseas Territory is located at the very south of Spain, with a population of 30,000 people and it’s famous for its warm weather and iconic rock inhabited by monkeys.
Spread across two days, MTV Gibraltar Calling boasted a strong line-up of both Gibraltarian and international acts including Craig David, Steve Aoki, Fatboy Slim and Puerto Rican superstar Ricky Martin. The family-friendly event also provided loads of entertainment off stage with a Kids Zone, zip wire and many food and drink stands.
All ticket sales were taken through Universe, the Ticketmaster self-managed platform which embeds to your website and provides technology to scan tickets and take sales on-site. The London team were also happy to attend, lending their support throughout what was truly a fantastic event!
