A brand new programme was announced last October by FastForward and Ticketmaster. It’s designed to pair leaders from across the Ticketmaster and Live Nation business units with bright young people from our network and community of dynamic young industry executives.

Mentors from Ticketmaster include John Talbot, Senior Manager International Business Development & Artist Relations; Joanna Young, Associate Director of International Marketing Services; and Christine Lanoy, Senior Director Design & UX, Product.

Mentors from Live Nation include Jackie Wilgar, SVP Marketing International; Kelly Chappel, VP Touring, Europe; and Wes Holland, Director of Digital Product & Business Development, Marketing Solutions.

Following the announcement of the FastForward and Ticketmaster Mentoring Programme last year, people applied from all corners of the globe and now the six successful applicants can be announced.

Abhishek Sen, Co-Founder and CEO of NumberEight, will be mentored by Christine Lanoy. NumberEight is a tech platform that derives a person’s “context” from sensors in their phone, using AI to predict user intent.

Christopher Ludwig, Director of Digital Strategy at record label BMG, whose artists range from alt-J to Kylie, and from Blink-182 to Rick Astley, will be mentored by Jackie Wilgar.

Federica Tombini, Marketing Officer (Music and Festivals) at the Southbank Centre, will be mentored by Jo Young while promoting gigs across a wide variety of genres.

• Artist Pryti Gatge will be mentored by John Talbot. As well as being a singer-songwriter, Gatge is Managing Director of Welcome to Pariahville Records.

Laura Kiesow will be mentored by Kelly Chappel. Kiesow is Marketing Manager for Universal-owned Caroline International, based in Amsterdam, who looks after the Benelux region.

Ivana Karabova, Founder and CEO of digital marketing agency Isle of Digital, will be mentored by Wes Holland.

The year-long programme will start in early March, soon after FastForward: Amsterdam, which takes place in central Amsterdam this week. Mentors will meet with their mentees each month for the year, supporting them with personal and professional development.
