Ticketmaster has been a long-term supporter of Nordoff Robbins, who provide and promote the skilled use of music with individuals, groups and communities who are challenged by disability, illness or injustice. Nordoff Robbins is the largest independent music therapy charity in the UK, dedicated to changing the lives of vulnerable and isolated people. They support thousands of people in their own centres and by working in partnership with a wide range of organisations including care homes, schools and hospitals. When delivered by a trained practitioner, music therapy can be used to support people living with a wide range of needs. It can help a child with autism to communicate, reduce anxiety for those living with dementia or provide comfort and celebrate the life of someone facing terminal illness.

In addition to the participating in the Nordoff Robbins Charity Cup, a charity bingo night is also in the works for 3 May in the Imperial at Ticketmaster UK’s Angel office.

Plus, on 25 April two Ticketmaster team members from Marketing, James Dickson and Tom Common, will attend the Nordoff Robbins: Access All Areas event. It’s an opportunity for them to take a peek behind the scenes and get a better understanding of the amazing work Nordoff Robbins does. In addition to learning about upcoming activities and seeing highlights from last year, they’ll get to take part in a musical experience delivered by one of the brilliant music therapists.

Fundraising events like these enable Nordoff Robbins to deliver more music therapy sessions, helping to improve the lives of thousands of vulnerable and isolated people each year.
