For the first time Ticketmaster, a Live Nation Entertainment company, is tipping the seven artists they believe will dominate the live scene in 2018.

Ticketmaster’s New For 2018 list has been curated by Ticketmaster’s UK Artist Services team who have worked directly on over 600 tour campaigns in the past 12 months. The list takes in artists from across the musical spectrum with hip hop, indie and soul all represented.

Much of the list is made up of artists the Artist Services team have seen packing out grassroots venues over the last year, and who they believe are in a perfect position to take it to the next level, and pull the crowds in 2018.

The full list can be seen below (and by clicking here):

  • Pale Waves
  • Sigrid
  • Tom Walker
  • Yxng Bane
  • ALMA
  • Li’l Xan
  • IAMDDB

Commenting on the list, Andrew Parsons, Managing Director, Ticketmaster, said: “We’ve worked with some huge artist this year including Liam Gallagher, Sam Smith, Taylor Swift and Harry Styles who have all been massive tours for us. But maybe even more exciting has been the new acts we’ve started working with. To see the fans that artists develop even before they’ve received any substantial media exposure is always incredible. It’s testimony to quality of their music and their ability to put on a show.

"We love being part of an artist’s live career from the very beginning. The acts playing upstairs in pubs today could be those headlining O2 Academy Brixton or even the O2 tomorrow, and it’s vital that Ticketmaster lends support and guidance to these emerging artists.”

The announcement of the list coincides with the launch of Ticketmaster’s New Music channel. Based at https://blog.ticketmaster.co.uk/new-music the channel will feature profiles, interviews and reportage on some of the hottest emerging talent.
